254.8lbs - Brought to you by ...

The following message is a non-sponsored opinion piece on the benefits of the following services and devices. Reader discretion is advised.

Hey everyone, phat guy here for another installment of "fat to phat" that's right the blog that takes your doubts and turns them inside out. Today I am here with an array of exciting products and services to help you turn fat into phat :) *holds for applause*

First up, people always ask me "how do you go about measuring your progress phat guy?". Well accurate readings on my weight and bodyfat % are provided by my Health-o-meter bathroom scale.

This scale is capable of storing two individual profiles and measures your weight with the added bonus of electronically determining your body fat through the soles of your feet! Amazing!

Well phat guy, you're so strong, how do you do it? I'm glad you asked that, me. I stay in shape thanks to my LA Fitness membership. They have clean and well maintained facilities. Offer many classes from cycling and dance to Pilates and Yoga and also offer several sports leagues for basketball, racquetball and volleyball to name a few.

Wow, that's amazing. I can't afford a trainer though, what can I do? Another great question. I use the dailyburn.com website to research exercises and find workout programs that I can follow when I go to the gym. Find an existing program that matches your fitness level or make your own! It's simple and easy. For you phone addicts out there, yes they do have a mobile phone interface and a custom app for iPhones. Wow that sounds too good to be true. Wait there's more, your workouts are tracked over time to show progress and you can see your statistics as they improve. Even enter your weight or body fat for tracking as you close in on your goal!

What if I can't get to the gym? Walking is great, and if you can bear the load on your knees, running is good exercise. I, however, prefer my Huffy 10 speed bike for a good cardiovascular burn. The variable speeds provide settings for lower effort of hills and greater ability to remain consistent in tough terrain.

Alright so I know how to workout, what about diet? Thanks to my good friend Cindy and her diet program care of Slim4Life, healthy eating is as simple as going to the grocery store and loading up on healthy fruits, veggies, proteins and starches. The program gives me specific measurements to target and helps me figure out serving sizes. There are also healthy recipes and sample diet plans to help me get started.

Wow, how to you cook food to be healthy though? Geez, more questions, okay. Poached eggs are as simple as cracking a few eggs into a poacher adding a small amount of water and microwaving for about a minute. I can get grilled chicken from my oven thanks to my non-stick grill and pan combo. Fry eggs with low amounts of oil with a Teflon frying pan greased lightly with vegetable oil for smooth and easy extraction of food. Spray butter or PAM can also come in handy.

Okay what about ... Cut! That's a wrap! If you have anymore questions, post them to the comments section!!
